Schwan's takes no responsiblity for their lack of service. Place a order that was delayed due to their error and all they wanted to offer was to take off the delvery fee of $4,50. The "customer service agent" could not get off the phone fast enough with me and ended up hanging up on me. Will not order from them again. They should contact Omaha steaks and learn what customer service is all about.
Two times within 6 months I have received my SCHWANS order via UPS over 3 days late.
This means my PERISHABLE BOX is 30 pounds of mush. Cannot email these fools so I call and get put on HOLD FOR 20 MINUTES. Finally at the recordings bidding I leave a DETAILED MESSAGE with their promise to return my call WHAT A JOKE! $253 order and no one gives a $#*!! Calling my credit card company today and filing a dispute.

Today is the last day I get service from schwan's, I have been disrespected for the last time. The delivery driver told me that they don't accept cash anymore. This is un American.
I don't care for white chicken and turkey meat, yet that is mostly all they offer even in the Chinese cuisines. I know for a fact that Asians prefer dark meat because the US exports dark meat to Asian countries. Also, they used to have that low fat vegetarian pizza and stopped selling it. The chicken enchilada had hardly any chicken in it. I stopped ordering it.
After receiving an email today re: change of hours for home delivery in the Columbus Ohio area, I attempted to reply with the following, but was then informed they no longer read customer email. Here is my response.
Just so we're clear…. Even when we schedule a 4:00 delivery, it is Always delivered before noon… and since we weren't home at that time, OR expecting a delivery, $90. Worth of food was left on our front porch in the heat - in a Regular Plastic Bag. Needless to say, we had thawed food and 4 cartons of melted ice cream on our porch when we got home!
Do not presume to clarify anything for me. Your online ordering, while convenient, is incomplete and all but Guarantees a delivery time.
Your service is woefully less than you lead us to believe and the product - while good - is not worth all the waste and scheduling hassle!

We have ordered for years and recently were down due to hospitalizations. We finally got healthy, made an order, to include salmon steaks for a family get together. There were eight of us and our order never showed. Called the office and the recording said they were closed, call back. We called the next day and were told the address dropped out on their end and they could come the following Monday. What good does that do? They should not charge for a terrible mistake like this.
I was a loyal customer with Schwan's years ago and loved their products. I'm no longer in a delivery area, but have had good luck with UPS shipping of other food products, so tried Schwan's again. First, I could not place an order because my account was "flagged" for suspected fraudulent activity. No idea why as my cc information was accurate and there was NO problem with my bank. But no order could go through, or so I was told. Went through several "representatives" and all they could tell me was that they could do nothing until there was an investigation. I was never contacted or informed about the status of the supposed investigation. Weeks later, I find a charge on my bank for an order which I never received. Tried an online chat. The person could not help me -- after nearly half an hour of waiting -- because (Guess!) account had been flagged. I requested a supervisor. Was told that my "request" had been placed and someone would call me within 48 hours. Despite the fact that I always enjoyed Schwan's products, I will never again order from them. Customer service is so bad it's almost funny. And if I don't receive a refund from them for the order charged but never delivered, and quickly, I'll be placing negative reviews everywhere I possibly can. There's no excuse for this BS.
My mother in law really likes them but they hardly ever show up even thou she usually spend well over a hundred dollars. Their service is really terrible. She will sit home all day just waiting for them on the day they are suppose to show up and they don't come. So sad.
I have been trying for a month to get one particular order delivered. I have been rescheduled 3 times and then received a notice that everything in the order was out of stock. It isn't worth the hassle of contacting customer service because they will try to reschedule a 4th attempt. Don't bother with this company
On march 6 i ordered a few meals and ice cream for my disabled mother in florida after a few days on the 8th of march when it was supposed to be delivered no delivery around the 22 her birthday they canceled the order with no reason several attemps made to have it redilvered same thing happened 3 times they canceled order on me and all they would say is i dont know why this happened but we can reorder it and give you $10 off your next order NO THANK YOU i will never recomend or purchase anything from this company again very pour business habits. I have been a Customer with Schwans off & on for about 20 yrs. And it saddens me to say how SAD I am at how the "Old-Fashioned, Grandma Homemade" Flavor of the Schwans Foods have been LOST!! When I FIRST tasted a Schwans Meal, it was My Favorite Food...a Homemade Chicken Pot Pie that Scwans calls a Chicken Bake and a PEACH PIE by Schwans that tasted like my GRANDMAS!!! OMG....to DIE FOR!! The TASTE of those TWO BROUGHT TEARS to My Eyes.. the MEMORIES came crushing back at me!! Sadly, NOW Schwans NO LONGER Sells that Luscious Peach Pie AND that AMAZING CHICKEN BAKE SAUCE has been CHANGED SO MANY times through the years, I Can NO LONGER TASTE My Grandma in your PIES!! WHY Did ya'll CHANGE IT?! IT WAS PERFECTION!! Ya'll are LOSING Your HOMEMADE REPUTATION!! PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!! Get RID of ALL those "FAKE, FROZEN PIES" you can buy at ANY Grocery Store!! Very poor service for o time delivery. Just restarted service & just e fed again for good. Hell my 1st delivery was set off for 2wks. Now 1nd for no explanation. No show no call. Now supposed to had bn delivered from 12-3pm. At 10:30 pm I get email for me to call & reschedule, but they close at 7pm. & wn I try online to reschedule. It tells me a $5.00 charge unless I wait 4 more days. Worst service possible. Looks lk I just hv to keep Walmart busy or some else, because Schwan’s overpriced items just got stopped coming to my house for not being loyal to me as a customer. Hell loosing about $400.at minimum a month
SERVICE SUCKS! – Good Food, but Delivery Date & Time is TOTALLY UNRELIABLE! Original delivery date was 2/1/2021. I received a text with a 2-hour (3:23 PM-5:23 PM) window today, 2/6/2021. Then I receive an e-mail that I have been "rescheduled" to a date 9 DAYS LATER on 2/15/2021! This would be the SECOND RESCHEDULING for an order placed January 5th, 2021.
We had a terrible experience we preordered over $200 worth of product but only received about half of what we ordered he did come to give us the rest the next day but made us pay for some of it we had already paid for it,so if you order from schwan's make sure to check your order before they leave.

I've spent hours trying to speak to someone at Schwans
